Our Mission Statement

Our dance center vows to give each student the best quality dance education offering a caring, friendly, family environment for the youngest recreational student to the serious young adult. It is our policy to nurture each student and encourage the love of dance. The art of dance teaches discipline of the body and mind, provides healthy exercise and promotes a knowledge and appreciation of music.

PGDC COMPANY AUDITIONS
SUNDAY, JUNE 23
3 – 6 PM
Calling all serious dancers, between 3 & 18 years of age, who wish to experience the competition side of dance!
This element of dance teaches the more focused dancer the ability to learn and perfect choreography at a much quicker pace.
Demands are great, but rewards are tremendous.
To audition:
  • Student must have completed one year at PGDC
  • Student must be registered and completed one of the Summer Intensives
  • Family account must be paid in full for the 2012-13 season
  • Wear black leotards, pink or tan tights, bring all dance shoes to audition
  • Pre-registration is suggested - call PGDC studio 664-2090

$5.00 Audition fee

CLASSES IN BALLET, TAP, JAZZ, LYRICAL, HIP HOP AND ACRO ARE AVAILABLE.

PGDC IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE MOST OF THE

INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED INTENSIVE CLASSES

WILL HAVE GUEST TECHERS!

ALL OTHER CLASSES WILL BE TAUGHT BY PGDC FACULTY!

Guest Teachers:

Mr. David Monroe - Lyrcal/Contemporary/Jazz - Studied at the New Orleans Center of Creataive Arts (NOCCA), George WAshington Carver of Performing Arts, Alvin Ailey School, Miami City Ballet, and as a scholarship student at The Houston Ballet School. David has had the opportunity to perform with such legends as: Savion Glover, Gregory Hines, Danny Tidwell, Sidra Bell, and Desmond Richardson, just to name a few.

Mr. Christian Delery - Ballet - trained with the Eastern Shore Ballet Theater, Atlantic City Ballet, Joffrey School under full scholarship and was an apprentice with Dayton Ballet. In the summer of 2010, Christian trained at the School of American Ballet.

Miss Mcque Hollins - Tap - Teen Miss Dance of America 2007 and a member of the New Orleans Hornets Honeybee Dance team, Mcque studied with Duanne Cazalot's "Dance Unlimited" in Lutcher, La.
